Your board supplies the candidates, ballot wording and governing rules. Nominations, election-rule decisions and legal review remain with your board and counsel. Read the full division of work.
Starting prices in USD, per election. The base managed fee covers up to 100 voters. The final quote depends on the roster, meeting location, duration and agreed work.
The $6.00 covers the trip both ways: the packet out, and a return envelope that already has the postage paid on it, so the member never buys a stamp. There is no separate postage line on your invoice. A mailed ballot counts when it reaches the return address on the envelope by the close date in your notice — received by, not postmarked by, so nobody has to adjudicate a smudged postmark after the count has started. We work backwards from your close date at kickoff and give you the mail-by date to print on the packet.
The $199 digital service does not include on-site staff or mailed packets. We agree the total and confirm availability in writing before booking. Compare every service and add-on.
Hiring an election team and appointing an inspector are separate decisions. vote.direct offers its own inspector service in Colorado, Nevada, Florida, Texas (homeowners associations only, not condominiums) and Arizona. We do not serve as inspector in California. Where a separate independent inspector is needed, we agree our team's work with that inspector.
Check inspector availability and responsibilitiesSend the date, location, expected meeting length, voter count, ballot content and governing rules. We need at least 10 days before ballots open for managed setup; notice periods, mailing and staffing availability can require more time.
