Every price is published, and the number on the page is the number on the invoice unless we have beaten a lower quote for you. Self-serve: elections up to 25 voters are free, larger ones pay one flat rate per election by roster size ($4.99 to $249.99, up to 5,000 voters). Services: we build the election and hand it over live from $99, or run the whole thing from $199, platform fee included. $199 covers the first 100 voters of a full managed digital election. Each voter after that costs less as the election grows: $1.50 per voter up to 200 voters, $1.00 up to 400, 20 cents up to 1,000, 15 cents up to 2,000 and 10 cents up to 5,000. Totals end in .99. Setup & Launch works the same way from $99, at half of each per-voter rate. Mailed packets are priced on top, and the instant quote prints the whole price for your roster. Add-ons attach to any of those at a flat price: printed ballot packets, government ID checks, your own domain on the ballot link and, on a managed election in five states, vote.direct as inspector of elections. It can be, but the answer depends on the state, community type, vote, governing documents, notices, consent, inspectors, paper choices, and other steps. California Civil Code §§5105 and 5110 and Florida Statute §720.317 are examples of detailed electronic-voting procedures. vote.direct provides roster, verification, ballot, receipt, and audit-record tools; software alone does not make an election compliant. That is our reading, offered to support your review, not legal advice: have your attorney confirm it before the board acts.

On a managed election, in Colorado, Nevada, Florida, Texas (homeowners associations only, not condominiums), Arizona and Maryland, for $300 on top of the $199 managed price. We confirm the roster before ballots go out, oversee the count, and sign the certification for your minutes. Never in California: Cal. Civ. Code §5110(b) disqualifies anyone the association pays for other services, and you pay us for the platform, so there we help you find an independent inspector and take no fee from them. Everywhere else you appoint the inspector or neutral counter your documents call for, and we run the election underneath them. When the vote or the count happens in person, the inspector has to be in the room. Managed elections that need our staff physically present, such as an in-person vote or count, are paused for now. Until they resume, vote.direct serves as inspector only where neither the vote nor the count happens in person.

Yes, while there is time. Call before ballots open and we will quote Setup & Launch or a full managed election on the election you have already built; we need 10 days before it opens. Once a vote is live, help from us runs through a time-boxed access grant with a written reason: it shows on your election as a banner, it expires on its own, and you can revoke it at any time.

Voters can receive an SMS verification code and then cast the ballot in a web browser. For members who need paper, we print and mail a hand-marked ballot packet for $6.00 with a postage-paid return envelope addressed to any address you designate (your inspector, your management office, or our neutral election address), and the returns are counted in the same tally as the online ballots. When arranged in advance, vote.direct can also send a physical access letter for $3.00 per letter; that is not a returned hand-marked paper ballot.

Yes. If another online election provider quotes less for the same self-serve online election, forward the quote to sales@vote.direct before you pay and vote.direct will beat it. It covers self-serve online elections of 26 to 5,000 voters. The quote has to be for the same election (the same number of voters, voting online), in writing or the provider's published price, from the last 30 days, and sent before you pay; we cannot beat a quote we cannot verify. A free plan cannot be beaten, and managed elections, setup services, mailed ballot packets, government-ID checks, in-person support and your own domain keep their published prices. We check the quote and reply with your lower price and a one-time code to enter at checkout. One lower price per election. We may change or end this offer, and a lower price we have already sent stays good until its code expires.

Legal advice, a promise that the vote binds, an inspector of elections in California, an inspector for a Texas condominium, and a sale price. We produce the record of what happened inside the platform; your notice, governing documents, inspector where one is required, and counsel decide whether the result binds.

Yes. If verification delivery or a technical problem on our side affects your election, we refund the affected votes.

The assisted government-ID workflow can check a government-issued document and, when configured, compare a selfie with the document photo. That third-party check has a per-completed-check cost and adds identity evidence; it does not prove membership, legal eligibility, or compliance with the full election procedure.
