Run it yourself, or hand it to us.

vote.direct offers self-serve voting software and full-service election administration: online, by mail, or in person with on-site staff. Self-serve is free up to 25 voters, then $4.99 to $149.99 per election up to 2,000 voters, or from $9 a month. Setup starts at $99; full digital management at $199 for up to 100 voters. Add 2 on-site staff from $1,000, with mailed ballots and inspector services priced separately.

Prefer to talk any of this over first? Call or text (512) 222-8191. A person answers, any day of the week, and there is no charge for the conversation.

How much of the work is yours?

Read a column top to bottom and you know exactly what the price buys. Read a row and you see what changes as you move right. The last row never moves: it stays with the board at every price.

Self-serve

One flat rate per election

Priced by the size of your roster, not by turnout. Building and previewing your election is free. You are charged once, when you publish, and elections up to 25 voters are never charged at all.

No card neededUp to 25 votersFree
26–50 voters$4.99
51–100 voters$9.99
101–200 voters$19.99
201–400 voters$24.99

Every election includes:

  • Email verification (SMS in paid tiers)
  • Delivery tracking and vote receipts
  • Reminders, live quorum, results dashboard
  • CSV and PDF export, tamper-evident audit trail

Printed ballot packets, government ID checks and your own domain attach at the flat add-on prices below. Elections above 2,000 voters are quoted: talk to us.

Self-serve, all year

  • Reminders, quorum tracking, compliance certificates
  • CSV and PDF export, tamper-evident audit trail

Flat-rate add-ons

Services that attach to any of the four

Each one is something we do today, at a published price, with the line it does not cross written next to it.

Printed ballot packets, postage both ways

Any election

$6.00 per packet

We print and mail a hand-marked ballot packet with a return envelope that already has the postage on it, so the member never buys a stamp. The envelope is addressed to any address you designate: your inspector, your management office, or our neutral election address. Returns that come to us we enter into the same tally as the online ballots; returns that go to you, your board enters. Want us to build the packets? Setup & Launch, from $99, includes it.

The line: Charged on the packets actually mailed. A ballot counts when it is received by the close date, not postmarked by it. Each mailing waits for our approval before it prints.

Talk it over first: call or text (512) 222-8191.

Printed ballot packets, send only

Any election

$3.00 per packet

The same printed packet, addressed back to you instead of to us. Your board opens the returns and enters them in the dashboard, ballot by ballot, with a photo of each one on the record.

The line: Charged on the packets actually mailed. You supply the return address and you do the entry.

Talk it over first: call or text (512) 222-8191.

Government ID check

Any election

$3.00 per checked voter

A document check by our identity-verification provider, with a selfie match when you turn it on, run only on the voters you choose. The images go to that provider, never to our servers.

The line: Adds identity evidence about the person completing the check. It does not prove membership, eligibility, or that the election procedure was followed.

Talk it over first: call or text (512) 222-8191.

Mailed access letter

Any election

$3.00 per letter

One letter carrying a private code, so a member with no email address votes online from a slip of paper.

The line: Arranged in advance. It is not a returned paper ballot; if your documents require one, use the packets above.

Talk it over first: call or text (512) 222-8191.

Your own domain on the ballot link

Any election

$50.00 per election

Members click a link on your domain rather than ours, which is the cheapest answer there is to "is this email real?".

The line: One election. Announcements sent from your own domain all year come with the annual plans instead.

Talk it over first: call or text (512) 222-8191.

vote.direct as your inspector of elections

Managed only

$300 on a managed election

We confirm the roster before ballots go out, oversee the count, and sign the certification that goes into your minutes.

The line: Colorado, Nevada, Florida, Texas (homeowners associations only, not condominiums) and Arizona. Never in California: Cal. Civ. Code §5110(b) bars anyone paid by the association for other services, and the association pays us for the platform. Everywhere else you appoint the inspector or neutral counter your documents call for, and we run the election underneath them. If the vote or the count is in person, add in-person support below.

Talk it over first: call or text (512) 222-8191.

In-person support at your meeting

Managed only

From $1,000 on a managed election

2 vote.direct staff physically at your meeting: we run the in-person ballot station, receive and open the returns, conduct the count in front of your members, and announce the result. Two people, because a count needs a second pair of eyes.

The line: Required whenever vote.direct serves as your inspector and the vote or the count happens in person; an inspector who is not in the room is not the inspector. Priced from $1,000 for 2 people by meeting length and location, agreed in writing before the date.

Talk it over first: call or text (512) 222-8191.

Where vote.direct can serve as your inspector of elections

  • Colorado
  • Nevada
  • Florida
  • Texas (homeowners associations only, not condominiums)
  • Arizona

On a managed election only. These are the states where we have checked the rule; the price is the From $499 column above, plus in-person support when the vote or the count is in person.

Where we will not

Never in California. Cal. Civ. Code §5110(b) bars anyone the association pays for other services from serving as inspector, and the association pays us for the platform. We help you find an independent inspector there and take no fee from them for it.

Everywhere else you appoint the inspector or neutral counter your documents call for, and we run the election underneath them.

Who may serve in your state: inspector of elections by state. California boards: independent inspectors who work on the platform.

What no price on this page buys

The absence is the part of an offer a board’s attorney reads first, so here it is in full.

  • Legal advice

We are not a law firm. Where this site cites a statute it is our reading, offered to support your review, and your attorney confirms it before the board acts on it.

  • A promise that the vote binds

The certificate and audit package record what happened inside the platform. Whether the result binds is decided by your notice, your governing documents, member consent where the law asks for it, the inspector where one is required, and your counsel.

  • An inspector of elections in California

Cal. Civ. Code §5110(b) disqualifies anyone the association pays for other services, and the association pays us for the platform. We help you find an independent inspector instead, and we take no fee from them for it.

  • An inspector for a Texas condominium

The Texas act that lets a non-candidate tabulate does not reach condominiums, and the condominium act names nobody, so we do not put ourselves forward on a silence. Appoint someone who is not on the board and not on the ballot; we run the election underneath them.

  • A sale price

No "was" price, no countdown, no code. The number on this page is the number on the invoice.

Unsure whether something you need is on this list? call or text (512) 222-8191.

Hands-on, at every price

The same person from setup to certification

Self-serve does not mean on your own. What this company has instead of a support department is the founder, and the claims below are the kind you can check in one call.

Every price, the free tier included

  • A person, not a queue

    (512) 222-8191 reaches Oday Brahem, the founder and the engineer who builds the product, by call or text, any day of the week. The same person from setup to certification.

  • Free test ballots before anything goes out

Send up to 5 people a hidden copy of the real election. Invite, verify, vote and watch the live results with the board before a single member sees it.

  • Help inside your election, on the record

When you ask us to step into a live election, we work through a time-boxed access grant with a written reason. It shows on the election as a banner, it expires on its own, and you can revoke it.

Community, Association and Enterprise plans

  • Priority support

Your questions go to the front of the line during a live vote.

Enterprise plans

  • Dedicated onboarding

A setup session for the whole portfolio, so every community is loaded the same way once.

Managed elections

  • The voter inbox is ours

During the voting window members write to us, not to your manager, and we answer them.

Our third-party review record is 6 reviews across Capterra and Trustpilot, which is not a track record. That review is worth reading in full because of what the customer chose to lead with. They were not asked about support, and they wrote that someone at vote.direct worked over a weekend to prepare a proposal for their board and answered every question in non-technical language. It is the same claim this page makes about founder-led support, made by someone with no stake in repeating it. Read it in full on Capterra, criticism included.
