You need a free account to build a survey; the people answering do not. Money only comes into it if you choose a subscription, or send your questions to a named list as a verified vote, which is one flat price for the whole vote, set by the size of your list: $4.99 for up to 50 people, and free for up to 25. There is no trial clock on the free plan.

No. Anyone with the link can answer in one tap, no login and no email demanded up front unless you choose to ask for one. That is the point: every wall you put in front of a respondent costs you completed responses. If you later need to confirm one answer per real person, send the same questions to your list as a verified vote.

Yes. Export every response to CSV with one click, whenever you want. The export button is not behind a paywall. Your responses are your data and you can take them with you. For a meeting, download the board report: a PDF with every question's results and a plain note on how the answers were collected. It never prints anyone's name.

Partly. You pick one of eight preset themes, all of them free, and the builder previews your survey in that theme as you write. You cannot add a logo, a cover image or your own colors to a survey.
